Over the past month, I documented the O’Brien family in Baltimore for their Moments Series. This project dives deeply into their everyday life, capturing candid and intimate moments that showcase their unique family dynamic. I photographed everything, from the simple joys of giving their youngest a bath to the warmth of family dinners and the camaraderie of hanging out with neighborhood friends. As a result, each moment offers a window into their world and reflects Baltimore city life in photos.

Since I have photographed the O’Briens for some time, I’m thrilled to elevate our collaboration to a new level of intensity and intimacy. Not only does this project create beautiful images, but it also tells the story of their daily lives in a way that feels authentic. Moreover, the O’Briens welcomed me into their home and lives, and I’m excited to continue this journey with them.

Documenting their everyday moments challenges and delights me. It requires presence and observation to capture the essence of their interactions and genuine connections. Each photo tells a story of family bonds and the simple yet profound moments that weave their daily life together. Consequently, this process deepened my understanding of family, and I feel honored to preserve these memories for them. Ultimately, the Moments Series celebrates the love, laughter, and togetherness that define the O’Brien family’s life in the city.
