Photographing Char and Tyalor’s baby shower in the Bronx, New York, was such a pleasure. From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel part of the celebration.
What stood out most was how much fun everyone brought to the day. Guests were happy to have their photographs taken, and that openness made capturing both portraits and candid moments feel relaxed and natural. As a photographer, I appreciate when people feel comfortable being themselves—it gives the photographs so much personality.
This celebration was a lovely reminder of what I enjoy about photographing events in New York: meeting people, sharing in their excitement, and creating photographs they can look back on together.
