Capturing the Family Moment in Harbor East and Federal Hill

We wandered all over Harbor East and Federal Hill with the toilet paper in tow, taking pictures at various spots along the way. People, of course, stared at us. Some whispered, “Is that toilet paper?” while others watched us a bit longer. But honestly, it was too much fun to care. Eventually, everyone joined in, embracing the silliness of it all.

Everyday Life Photography: Finding Joy in Simple Adventures

Kids find pure happiness in the simplest things. As adults, we often complicate and overthink happiness, making it seem rigid and unattainable. But kids like Vincent remind us that joy can be simple. Sometimes, all you need is a walk around the city with a pack of toilet paper to create a perfect family moment.

Gear Used to Capture the Day

To document this quirky adventure, I used my Canon EOS 7D paired with the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens. This setup was perfect for capturing the spontaneous moments. Vincent’s joy as he carried the toilet paper through the streets was priceless. The wide-angle lens allowed me to frame the cityscape and our playful journey, perfectly capturing the spirit of the day.
