After completing a session of classes, Donavon hosts a wrap-up party to celebrate everyone’s hard work and progress. This particular celebration took place at Howard’s of Mount Vernon, a cozy and welcoming venue that perfectly suited the occasion. The party had the ideal atmosphere, with a great balance of food, drinks, and lively conversation. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to unwind, share their fitness stories, and enjoy the sense of community that Donavon fosters through his training programs.
Capturing the Energy of the Event
I had the pleasure of capturing the event with my Canon EOS 7D, using a variety of lenses to document the evening’s highlights. The EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM lens provided wide, dynamic shots, showcasing the vibrant party atmosphere. The EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens was ideal for close-up details of the food, drinks, and smiling faces. For more intimate moments, I used the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens. This lens allowed me to zoom in and capture the connections between participants. The evening was full of energy, and the photos reflect the joy and camaraderie that Donavon inspires in his clients.
