As I was moving out of Baltimore City, I had to part with some of my most valuable assets—my plants. They ranged from ZZ plants to Snake plants, Pothos, and Succulents. While selling them, I met many people who shared my love for greenery. Most were buyers, but one memorable exchange involved trading books for plants. It was a unique connection, meeting someone who felt the same joy and respect for these living things.
That’s what I loved most about living in Baltimore—meeting like-minded people who embraced both city life and the simple pleasure of caring for plants.
