I had the opportunity to conduct a workplace photo shoot for Marc Lichtenfeld to promote his book, You Don’t Have to Drive an Uber in Retirement. The shoot took place at the Oxford Club and Revie Hotel, with images created for marketing materials, webinars, and other promotional content.

The Importance of Marketing Photography

In today’s competitive world, quality marketing photography is essential. It’s not just about capturing a person—it’s about capturing their message. For Marc, these images help convey his expertise on retirement planning. Whether it’s for webinars, book promotions, or social media, compelling images can elevate a brand, communicate professionalism, and engage audiences. In this case, the right photography ensures Marc’s message connects visually with readers, reinforcing his book’s theme of financial independence in retirement.

Gear Used for the Photo Shoot

For this shoot, I used the Canon EOS 5D Mark III, a reliable choice for high-quality images. I paired it with two lenses to cover different angles and shots. The EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens helped capture wide-angle shots, perfect for the spacious venues we used. The EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens was ideal for detailed close-ups, adding depth and focus to the images. Both lenses, combined with the natural light at the Oxford Club and the sleek modern atmosphere of the Revie Hotel, created the perfect setting for Marc’s marketing materials.

Final Thoughts

Marketing photography is more than just a visual tool—it’s a powerful way to communicate a message and elevate a brand. By using professional gear and capturing Marc Lichtenfeld in strategic workplace settings, these photos will effectively promote his new book and drive engagement in his upcoming webinars and materials.
